I'm pleased that the underpass located on Bathurst Street between Wilson Avenue and the 401 on-ramp has been selected for the underpass mural this year, as I have been advocating on the behalf of the community to improve and revitalize this underpass.

As such, I would like to invite you to the Bathurst and Wilson Underpass Street Art Project: Design Concept Presentations on Monday, April 23, 2018 (6pm-8pm) at the Faywood Arts-Based Curriculum School (95 Faywood Boulevard).

Finalizing the watermain replacement on Castlefield Avenue at the Metrolinx Rail Crossing

The installation of the final section of the watermain on Castlefield Avenue across the Metrolinx Rail Crossing, just east of Kincort Street is expected to begin April 11, 2018 with an estimated completion date of June 29, 2018.

Replacing the watermain helps to ensure that our community receives safe and high-quality water service.

Please note that during working hours, two-way access on Castlefield Avenue -- reduced to one lane -- will be accommodated by flag-persons and police officers on point-duty.  However, Castlefield will be fully closed at the rail corridor after-hours.  Lane closure hours are on the construction notice.  This traffic control is expected to be in place from April 11, 2018 to May 7, 2018.

Please review the complete notice for this construction update by clicking here, or by clicking the images below:
