Locksley Avenue: Road repairs coming soon

After continuing to push the City's Transportation Department, I want to let you know that in addition to some patchwork done recently, the City is planning to finally make interim repairs on the worst sections of Locksley Avenue this summer.

Dane Park construction update

As you know, the construction of Dane Park has begun.  I’m pleased to report that good weather allowed the contractor to start ahead of schedule, and work is progressing well. In fact, crews have already started installing the new playground at the heart of the park.

Pothole Action Plan

As you know, potholes are a huge concern in our communities, and this past winter was especially tough on our roads.  We are working diligently to report and escalate your complaints about potholes to City staff.

$14-million funding for Lawrence Heights community hub

I'm happy to report that the Province of Ontario has committed to investing $14 million to build a new Lawrence Heights Community Centre.

As your local City Councillor, I joined MPP Mike Colle (on behalf of Bob Chiarelli, Minister of Infrastructure) and MP Marco Mendicino in announcing this wonderful news, representing the shared commitment and collaboration of the federal, provincial and municipal governments in making the creation of this future community hub a key priority.
