"Project Wingold Avenue" underground construction starting late January 2018

Dear Neighbours,

Toronto Hydro Staff will soon be rebuilding the underground electrical system in our community.

Starting late January 2018, Toronto Hydro Staff will be replacing the existing electrical cables and transformers to help improve our community's electricity system, and make it more reliable for years to come. Work for "Project Wingold Avenue" will include sections of Dufferin Street, Tycos Drive and Wingold Avenue between Dufferin Street (East) and Lansdowne Avenue (West).

During work on this project, please be advised of the following:

  • Planned power outages may be needed in switching from the old to the new electrical system. Toronto Hydro will provide you with advance notice.
  • Access to your property to install an underground duct from the property line may be required.

Once the project is complete, please be assured that all affected areas will be restored.

Thank you for your cooperation, and please exercise caution around construction areas.

Please direct any questions about "Project Wingold Avenue" to Toronto Hydro at 416-542-3366, or my office at councillor_colle@toronto.ca or 416-392-4027.
