I'm happy to share that our new Dufferin Hill Park is now completed and open.

The park includes open space for kids to play, new seating and wooden pergola, new gardens and trees, and a large gathering space that's perfect for community events.
The new park that the City bought from the school board will continue a legacy of community greenspace on this site.
Stay tuned in Spring 2018 for a community celebration to official open the park and the unveiling of two new heritage plaques which will also be installed at the park, commemorating the local history of the Fairbank neighbourhood and former school.

Thank you to everyone who supported my efforts to buy this parkland and to those who shared your feedback. I look forward to seeing you at our new park.
