50 - 52 Neptune

The final report on housing replacement was adopted by North York Community Council on February 25, 2014, and will be considered at the March meeting of City Council. Background Report

Published June 2014 This development has gone through many changes since the original application in 2009, but currently proposes the construction of an 10 storey condominium building with 24 rental replacement units for a total of 169 residential units. Last summer, I held a Tenants' Consultation Meeting to address some of the concerns from the community. View Minutes.

The proposal is now before the Ontario Municipal Board (OMB). View decision from November 2013 OMB meeting. The OMB has not yet issued its final decision. Part of the decision will include a number of conditions that the applicant will need to fulfill prior to the Board issuing its Order on the appeals to the Lawrence-Allen Secondary Plan policies and the Zoning by-law amendment.

A Public Meeting is scheduled on February 25th, 2014 at 11:15 a.m. at the North York Civic Centre, Council Chambers, at 5100 Yonge Street to discuss the Section 111 Rental Housing Demolition and Conversion application.
